Since "long" time I save Mi Bands files (Firmware/Font/GPS/Resources) in Mega folders and share a public link to access to them. Today, I give access to all Mi Band 5 Lite (Kongming Lite), Mi Band 5 Pro (Kongming Pro), and Mi Band 6 (Pangu) files.

Mi Band 5 Lite

Mi Band 5 Lite has Kongming Lite as codename, and surely XMSH12HM as model name.

First Firmware version was released in July 2020, and last version two months later (September 2020).

Mi Band 5 Pro has Kongming Pro as codename, and XMSH13HM/XMSH14HM as known model names.

As Mi Band 5 Lite, first Firmware version was released in July 2020. Latest Firmware version is from October 2020.

Mi Band 6 has Pangu as codename, and XMSH15HM/XMSH16HM as model names.

First Firmware version was released one month after the latest Mi Band 5 Pro Firmware (November 2020), and last version is from yesterday.

This device (like Mi Band 4 and Mi Band 5) has at (approximately) each Firmware update two versions. The only difference between them is the Font version used by default. I upload into my Mega folder only one of this two Firmware versions. The version that I not upload is the one made specifically for Korea (and Japan?).

Mi Band 5 Lite and Mi Band 5 Pro are maybe canceled. If it's really the case, those aren't the first devices that appear in Mi Fit/Zepp application code and get many Firmwares versions before be canceled. You surely know the Amazfit Band 5, with York as codename, in "reality" it's Amazfit Band 6. The "real" Amazfit Band 5 had Athens as codename and was canceled.

Why we can suppose Mi Band 5 Lite is canceled?

This device only appeared in Mi Wear application code, in addition to none update since now more than 3 months.

Why we can suppose Mi Band 5 Pro is canceled?

Unlike Mi Band 5 Lite, Mi Band 5 Pro have all required code into Mi Fit application to work. Compared to Mi Band 5, into Resources files you can discover a new style, more menus, Alexa/Mi AI, SpO2, emoticons support... In addition to an important thing, Mi Band 5 Pro also has GPS file. If you have read my article about Mi Band 6, you're surely being think Mi Band 5 Pro and Mi Band 6 are really similar, and you're right! Like I said previously in the article, Mi Band 5 Pro has no Firmware update since now more than two months, and the first Mi Band 6 Firmware was released one month after the latest Mi Band 5 Pro Firmware release. In addition, if you look into the first Mi Band 6 Resources file, you can find things (like menus pictures or translations) that perfectly match with the last Mi Band 5 Pro Resources file. So we can suppose Mi Band 6 is based on Mi Band 5 Pro, and Mi Band 5 Pro was canceled to let place at Mi Band 6.

Conclusion

Many things indicate Mi Band 5 Lite and Mi Band 5 Pro are canceled, but that's not mean it's the case.
